    - make sure that the network cable is plugged in.
    - check that your local area connection is connected.
    - make sure that your computer's IP address and the reader's IP address are in the same range.
    - wireless connection must be disabled.
    - firewall or anti-virus block the communication.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     - check that the drivers were loaded in system 32 when re-loading software
  •  Why are my Employees unable to clock?
    - employee might not be on reader
    - employee might be on reader, but might not be linked to the reader in the relation maintenance
    - prism may be damaged or faulty
    - reader might be off
    - when employees clock their finger positioning might be incorrect
    - employees fingers might be dirty, dry or cut
  • Why will the reader be off?
    - Powersupply might be off or unplugged
    - have you experienced any bad weather e.g lightning damage?

  • How do I delete an employee?
    - delete employee in ViperTNA in Employee Maintenance
    - in ViperBM, Relation Maintenance:
    - click and drag employee from reader side to the user side
    - connect to clockpoint
    - update reader
    - delete employee on user side by clicking on delete user
    NB!! Before deleting an employee, ensure that you have a backup of employee's information
  • How do I make a backup of Software or Data?
    - when exiting ViperTNA programme, a message appears to make a backup
  • What do I do if I get a "Stop, System Violation" message?
    - check that the network is on
    - check that the path is correct
    - check that the PC has the right to see the server
  • How can I retrieve clockings in ViperBM?
    - go to "Get Logs"
    - click on relevant reader
    - click on "Get Logs"
    - wait for a message at result and description that says "successfully saves TNA clockings"
  • What should I do when I reach my maximum employee size?
    - phone Sapronet for a quotation for additional employee size
    - make a backup of your data, and delete any employee no longer working for you
